RIVER DUNES -- The 14th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Hugh Shelton, visits Saturday, Sept. 18 for an event that marks the completion of a project that students from The Shelton Leadership Institute at N.C. State University have been working on this summer. Over the past two weeks, two of the Institute's students have constructed a walkway and gazebo in the Conservation Area of this 1,300-acre residential community.

Shelton will visit the project and attend a dinner at the Harbor Club, where he will speak about the Institute and open up the floor for questions from guests.
